First Priority Group is pleased to announce the launch of its new database of obtainable grants for first responders, public safety and local government leaders to better serve their communities. Although more than $600 billion in nationwide grants are available to public safety agencies and local government each year, it can be difficult to navigate through the grant process. First Priority Group is proud to be the reliable go-to source for researching the grants and funds available for its customers, agencies and municipalities as a value-added service. FPG understands how critical these grants are for providers and local government agencies that are looking to add resources in the face of rising public safety challenges. The company has linked up with a national technology and media partner to facilitate access to federal, state and private funding resources.
First Priority Group is pleased to announce that funding is available through the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) for the purchase of equipment and vehicles (ex: Mobile Command Centers) and the creation of innovative programs targeted to reduce violent crime associated with gun violence, gang activity and drug abuse and make high-crime, high-poverty neighborhoods safer. Eligible applicants include non-profits and town/city/county governments in all 50 states. Total award will be $13.8 million.
